The North Shoreland Property Owners Association (NSPOA) is governed by an elected seven member Board of Directors which are listed in the NSPOA Annual Newsletter representing approximately 100 subdivision property owners. The board president is identified at the entrance to the subdivison. The board meets monthly to conduct association business including the task of reviewing and approving home and out-building construction plans. The board also organizes seasonal events which are listed in the annual newsletter that is mailed to members each year prior to the annual membership meeting with homeowners. These events are held at the Association common-use-property generally referred to as the "Outlot". The Outlot also has a boat ramp and dock space. One must be a member of the Association to have access to the Outlot and attend events. Membership Forms can be printed and turned into the current treasurer with annual dues. Membership fees help maintain the Outlot, pay for security lighting, insurance, and other subdivision amenities.
Association members are also active in the Lake of Egypt Association Property Owners (LEAPO). North Shoreland has a board member who attends the LEAPO meetings and represents North Shoreland subdivision. The participation by North Shoreland has resulted in multiple grants from LEAPO for subdivision improvements.
